Cottonwood Kids would like to send out a clear message to our clients and those organizations that are searching for ways to support their message of breastfeeding with their patients.

Cottonwood Kids was created solely to assist in elevating breastfeeding in the eyes of families across the country. More mothers choosing to breastfeed results in healthier babies, healthier mothers, and ultimately helps to lower healthcare costs.

Our goal is to assist health care professionals by providing one of the tools that can help to create higher breastfeeding initiation rates at discharge. This will ultimately lead to mothers breastfeeding their children for 6 months to 1 year as recommended by the CDC.

We polled hundreds of Lactation Consultants across the county and as a result have designed a cost effective WHO code compliant breastfeeding support program.

The product is a small cooler bag called the Healthy Baby Bag. The Healthy Baby Bag is a useful product designed to store expressed breast milk. Packaged inside the bag are the essential breastfeeding product samples and support information that the Lactation Consultants felt were important for their patients.

In addition, we have created a full line of affordable custom imprinted products that healthcare professionals can use to support their organizations brand within their community and create a bond with their patients that can last a lifetime.

We launched this program in July of 2009 with no idea how it was going to go. Since then we have shipped 600,000 of these products to 500 healthcare facilities in all 50 states!
